Project Overview
This Turramurra project transformed an open and underused space beneath the staircase into custom-designed storage. Three pull-out units with adjustable shelving provide flexible storage for shoes. The fourth section is a fixed panel, maintaining a clean and continuous appearance while concealing additional adjustable shelving behind it.
The taller cupboards provide access to generous internal storage. To maintain unobstructed airflow to the existing return-air intake, the internal cabinetry was raised from the floor and integrated louvred vents were incorporated into the two tall doors. The result is practical storage that works seamlessly with both the staircase and the home’s air-conditioning system.
